Calvary Baptist Church for 35 years has followed the Biblical mandate of Mark 16:15 to “go ye into all the world...” Some churches of like faith become so invested in the reaching of their own community that little thought is given to our responsibility of reaching the world. Other churches will spend enormous effort and finances sending missionaries to four corners of our planet, but will allow their neighbors to die without Christ. Here at Calvary, we believe in “both”. Hundreds of thousands of dollars have been given by our members in what is called “faith promise” missions giving to support the regular upkeep of American missionaries and National pastors as they go to win the lost, baptize new believers, and plant Bible-believing churches around the world. Currently our church supports through prayer and offerings 84 missionary families on a monthly basis. We challenge our members to give a regular gift above their tithe to help in this cause. We believe “everyone has a right to hear the gospel”. These are the list of missionaries that we support as well as the country where they serve.
In 2008, Calvary Baptist Church started our own in house missions program called, All Nations Outreach Ministry ("ANOM"). Since that time, 48 members have taken 43 trips and taken the gospel into 133 different countries, encouraging local pastors and churches, starting new churches and have had over 199,876 people saved.
